An Introduction to a Diverse Workforce – YMM
Our presentation is a collaboration with the Chamber of Commerce, RMWB’s Equity & Inclusion Program, and Meticulon Consulting, our event will be held on October 20th, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at The Royal Canadian Legion banquet hall (located upstairs and is fully accessible). This event includes the benefits of supporting inclusive and meaningful employment for individuals with Autism, neurodiversity, and diverse abilities.
Our morning session will help to provide tools for employers of ways of creating meaningful employment opportunities for autistic, neurodiverse, and diverse-ability individuals. This event is open to any employer in our region looking to gain tools for diversifying their workforce.
After the morning presentation, lunch will be provided by the Armoury Grill, and time will allow for questions and engagement with staff and other businesses.
Our day will be concluded with meeting with our Employment Facilitator and an introduction to our Employment program. They will learn how we support our clients, and the event has an open invite to any person with a disability. Potential employers will also meet our clients, who demonstrate a wide range of skill sets that could make them the ideal candidates for various jobs.
