Academic Express Adult Education and Training has been delivering career development training and adult upgrading, in Red Deer and throughout the Province of Alberta via distance-delivery, since 1998. Academic Express’ instructors are experienced, knowledgeable, and highly skilled in adult education and in their areas of expertise.

Donna Hall B.A.

Donna has been an administrator and operator at Academic Express Adult Education and Training since 1998. She has worked in the field of adult education since 1985 and has taught at Community Colleges in Quebec City and at Red Deer College. Donna has designed and delivered numerous employment and training programs in partnership with Alberta Human Services – Alberta Works.

Sidney Jarratt BBA

Sidney has been a director and accountant for Academic Express since 1998. He has worked in corporate and small business accounting for over 30 years.

Cindy Bojda BSW

Cindy is a registered Social Worker with the Alberta College of Social Workers and has a degree in Disabilities Studies from the University of Calgary.  Cindy has been a Community Support Worker instructor with Academic Express since 2012 and has worked with People with Developmental Disabilities for over 30 years as a supervisor and instructor. Cindy also has expertise in the field of Career Development and instructs in our New Futures Career Transition program. The students and staff at Academic Express not only appreciate Cindy’s wealth of information, on so many topics, but also her great sense of humour!

Christine Harris BSW

Christine is a registered Social Worker and has been a Community Support Worker instructor with Academic Express since 2008.  Christine has worked with people with addictions and homelessness, in Red Deer and Vancouver East End, on the frontline and in management and program development. We are extremely fortunate to have Christine as part of our team.

Deb Sept

Deb is Academic Express’ Central Alberta Rural Coordinator and is a great addition to our team.  Deb markets and promotes Academic Express’ programs in rural and small town Alberta and also works hands-on with our students.  Deb is passionate about helping students reach their full potential and realize their dreams.

Kristy Fulton

Kristy has been Academic Express’  Office Administrator since 2018.  Kristy’s calm and pleasant demeanor helps provide balance for a sometimes chaotic office.  Kristy is working towards completing her Business Diploma at RDP, while juggling work and three small children. It goes without saying that Kristy has great organizational skills!

Marilyn Luft B.A., B.ED.

Marilyn has worked in the field of Adult Education since 1980. She has designed and delivered Trades Apprenticeship Preparation programs for the federal and provincial governments and is a Workplace Essential Skills specialist. Marilyn has taught Math and Science for the Trades, GED Preparation, and Workplace Essential Skills at Academic Express Adult Education and Training since 2005.

Esterina Manyluk

Esterina has been teaching personal and professional development, Workplace Essential Skills, and GED Preparation at Academic Express Adult Education and Training since 2000. Esterina also instructs in the Continuing Education Department at Red Deer College. Esterina has organized many successful events in Red Deer over the years: Centre Fest, The Harms Reduction Conference, The Women’s Show, just to name a few. Esterina is appreciated by the students in the Community Support Program for her insight and knowledge of women’s issues.

Colin Evans

Academic Express Adult Education and Training has been blessed to have Colin as part of the team since 2012. Colin’s background in physics (3rd year U of A) and 10 years experience as a Crane Operator provides invaluable knowledge in the teaching of math and science for the trades and GED Preparation. Colin’s greatest qualities are his patience and his friendly easygoing personality.

Jason Hall B.Com

Jason is the newest addition to the team at Academic Express and he instructs the GED Preparation class on a part-time basis. We welcome Jason to Academic Express.
