Interested in exploring a career in the insurance and financial services sector? Curious about the types of roles available, what employers look for, and how to build a meaningful career in this industry? Join this MentorAbility Industry Information Session to learn more about career opportunities from Talent Acquisition Advisors at Co-operators and gain practical insights into navigating the hiring process.
In this virtual session, Co-operators will share insights about the organization, their ‘IDEA’ strategy and philosophy, careers pathways in insurance, including where to start and in-demand roles with Co-operators. You will leave with advice on how to get into the industry, set up job alerts, how to apply, the process and what skills Co-operators looks for.
There will also be time for questions, giving attendees the opportunity to learn directly from industry professionals and gain insight into real workplace experiences.

Kofoworola Olaniyan
Kofoworola Olaniyan is a Talent Acquisition Advisor with The Co-operators, having joined the organization in 2023 as a licensed insurance representative, she transitioned into recruitment in 2024 applying her 15 years of recruitment experience across banking, insurance, consulting, and aviation, Kofo brings a strong foundation in talent strategy and change management, supported by advanced degrees in Law and Organizational Management and Prosci certification.
Jamie Yiu
Jamie Yiu is a Senior Talent Acquisition Advisor with Co-operators who joined the organization in June 2025 and is based in Calgary. Has worked in Recruitment for over 15 years in various industries such as Oil & Gas, Retail and Healthcare. Graduated in 2011 at Mount Royal University with a Bachelors of Business Administration degree and has also worked as an HR Advisor. A Charismatic professional who is a people person and specializes in all facets of Human Resources.
Chaaya Jugdeb
Chaaya Jugdeb is a bilingual Talent Acquisition Advisor with The Co-operators since 2022, based in Calgary, with over 20 years of global Human Resources experience. In her current role, Chaaya supports hiring across corporate functions including Legal, Compliance, Privacy, Government Relations, Sustainability, Real Estate, Facilities, and Workplace Services, spanning early career through senior leadership levels. Chaaya holds a Bachelor of Social Science in Organizational Psychology and Industrial Sociology from the University of Cape Town and is a Registered Professional Recruiter and member of the Association of Professional Recruiters of Canada (APRC). With experience across financial services, oil & gas, technology, airlines, legal, and HR consulting in both Canadian and international markets, Chaaya brings a strong, inclusive, and people-centered approach to talent acquisition.
