These information sessions give participants the opportunity to learn more about prospective industries, recruitment requirements and qualifications, and the next steps they may need to take to achieve their employment goals.
Join use to hear all about careers in Marketing and Design with Suzanne Braun and Katherine Westwood of Relish Ideas. Relish is a full-service marketing communications and interactive agency specializing in strategic, immersive brand experiences across traditional and digital platforms. As a certified B Corporation, Relish is a 29-member, 51% female-owned and led team based in Calgary and Winnipeg, driven by creativity, innovation, and impact.
Suzanne Braun, an experienced entrepreneur, is the Founder and Managing Partner Relish Ideas. Under her leadership, Relish became a Certified B Corporation in 2017, committing to the highest standards of social and environmental performance, transparency, and accountability. Suzanne plays a pivotal role in helping clients design, launch, and manage brand experiences across platforms, bringing her passion for people and projects to every initiative. In addition to her work at Relish, Suzanne has a rich background in technology commercialization. She co-founded and served as CEO of Quipped Interactive Learning Tools from 2014 to 2019 and now acts as a fractional CMO for two tech startups. A graduate of Impact8 and VentureOut accelerators, Suzanne has been recognized as an RBC Social Impact Entrepreneur. Dedicated to social innovation, she directed the Manitoba Open Innovation Challenge, tackling early childhood literacy and numeracy issues, and holds credentials in Innovation Engineering, digital behaviour psychology, product management, and UX design.
Katherine Westwood is Principal and Director of Product Development at Relish Ideas. A skilled full stack web developer, graduated from RRC Polytechnic’s Digital Media Technology program and has been an integral part of the team since 2013. Committed to delivering exceptional service, they ensure clients have both functional and aesthetically pleasing digital experiences. Katherine’s uniqueness lies in their African / First Nations Ojibwe background, infusing their work with diverse cultural influences. Their deep passion for reading, writing and puzzles, as well as inspiration from their multicultural heritage, drives them to blend technology and narrative elements, making them a standout professional.
