Calgary alternative Employment Services (CAES) is the supported employment program at CASS. CAES assists job-seekers to overcome barriers, understand workplace culture and fill the personnel needs of inclusive employers in Calgary. CAES works with each client to identify their ideal work setting and employment support needs. Job interviews and employment placement are facilitated in accordance with the client’s goals. We then provide ongoing follow-up support to both the client and the employer in order to strengthen their skills and working relationship as well as ensure job satisfaction and retention.

Launch + Skills is an individualized skills coaching program designed to help autistic individuals who are motivated and ready to pursue goals in employment. Whether you are a teenager transitioning to adulthood, or you are already an adult, Launch + Skills was developed as an intensive program to help you learn the skills needed to for success. EmploymentWorks is a proven program that offers employment preparedness training and support, combined with job sampling and hands-on experience to autistic adults and persons with disabilities. The program is designed for individuals who want to enter or return to the workforce, and who are willing to develop and practice the skills needed to support employment success. The program is currently offered in two formats: In-Person and Online.

Since 1989, MCG Careers has been providing Career and Employment Services to Albertans across the province. Our organizational philosophy emphasizes client-focus and result-orientation; this philosophy has resulted in increased working partnerships with community agencies and employers, allowing us to provide a full continuum of client services.

By working with both Autistic youth and employer-partners, the Autism CanTech! program supports the development of inclusive and accessible workplaces and removes barriers for Autistic professionals to get employed. Successful applicants will be enrolled in a 6-month program that will prepare them to perform data processing, digital asset management, or sound design roles for a variety of businesses in the digital economy including those in education, finance, government, artificial intelligence, or health business.

In addition to REDIworks (employment program), REDI services include REDIconnects (supported independent living), REDIlives (24/7 residential supports) and BIRS (Brain Injury and Relearning Services). REDIventures, REDI’s social enterprise division, generates funds that help enhance programming and services delivered to our clients. REDI is now operating in Medicine Hat, Lethbridge, and Brooks, and employs over 250 people within these communities.

The INTEGRATED POST-SECONDARY EDUCATION SOCIETY OF ALBERTA is a non-profit organization supporting adults with developmental disabilities in their post-secondary education and employment journeys. We work together with individuals and their families to plan learning goals, practice employment skills, and develop community to build successful and more independent lives.
